About the Drama

Love Between Lines is a Chinese mystery-romance drama starring Chen Xingxu and Lu Yuxiao. The story follows Xiao Zhi Yu and Hu Xiu, who first meet during a murder mystery role-playing game set in Republic of China–themed scenarios. In the game, they take on fake identities and act out fictional plots, but both become curious about each other’s real personalities behind the roles. Later, they meet again in real life as if destined by fate. From that moment, their story unfolds in two parallel narratives—one inside the fictional world of the mystery game and the other in their real-life encounters. As the lines between illusion and reality blur, Xiao Zhi Yu and Hu Xiu slowly begin to understand their true feelings for each other.
